Infrared inspections yield information that is difficult or impossible using conventional inspection methods.  Since an infrared inspection is nondestructive, no damage is caused when investigating for defects. Thermal imaging can capture thousands of temperature measurements per square per square foot, resulting in a dense thermal profile of the areas being imaged.
